It’s about improvisation, about living in the moment.It’s about a text, a narrative, and a sonic improvisation – a performance, a musicking.It’s about feeling one’s own monstrosity – living at the edge – and still finding a way to become visible.What does the underworld of your emotions sound like?How does your echo resonate?What does the very first sound sound like?When does invisibility begin to glow?Sound and text want to act like an echo returning from the depths – growing and reverberating where sound was once buried – reminding us of the irresistible force of the creature.“They tried to bury us. They didn’t know we were seeds.”Inspired by Dinos Christianopoulos’ poem: καὶ τί δὲν κάνατε γιὰ νὰ μὲ θάψετε ὅμως ξεχάσατε πὼς ἤμουν σπόρος. The seeds beneath the soil symbolize the underground power of resistance and revulsion – a force not immediately visible, yet constantly at work: against norms, against the system, against erasure.It is the force that transforms rejection into a new identity.MONSTRA is a declaration of the power of the hidden, of the sound of the unfinished, of the wildness of emotions –a first, raw, monstrous, and beautiful emergence.​
